The goal of this course is to familiarize radiologic technologists and other health care professionals with the principles of radiobiology. The course will cover the biological aspects of radiation, including radiation units, properties of cells, the process of cell division, tissue sensitivities to radiation, effects of radiation on organ systems, acute radiation syndromes, and the embryonic and genetic effects of radiation. The majority of the modules in this course are text with images. There are a few short videos.
